Booked a Gas safety test and EICR due to part exchanging my current property for a new build. Gas inspection went well with no issues to report and whilst the e EICR inspection went smoothly it could not be passed due to remedial work being required to bring it in line with safety requirements (new consumer unit with better RCD protection). After getting a quote for the residual works I shopped around and Nationwide Surveyors were the cheapest by far, so I booked the work and a Friday appointment was agreed. On the morning of the appointment, I got a call to say the engineer had been involved in a car accident so couldn’t attend and an alternative appointment was made for the Sunday. I will be honest and admit I was extremely sceptical that the engineer would turn up on a Sunday, especially after reading some negative reviews. I was convinced I had made a bad choice. How wrong I was! The engineer turned up on the Sunday as promised and installed the new consumer unit. He was extremely friendly and explained everything as he went along and the quality of his work was top class. At the end of the install he went through everything that had been highlighted in the original report and explained what had been done to correct it. He also made sure I was 100% happy and ensured everything worked before he cleaned up any mess from the install and left. I received the updated report the following day as promised. Overall I am extremely happy with the service provided by Nationwide Surveyors and will be using them again in the future.

I had an electrician named Ismaeel from Nationwide surveyors. Ismaeel was very professional with the work which he has carried out. Good use of time and money.

Good timekeeping, phoned in advance great Bit too quiet on getting to completion. Had to promt for feedback on the results he was getting, and any issues arising. After all as a hands on landlord I want to know and understand. I do realise that should the tester be confronted with problem wiring , they do not want to get into a confrontation with an irate landlord, but it is beneficial to explain to interested parties the problems and remedies AT THE TIME. We found Nationwide Surveyors online and their prices were competitive (very) so initially we were sceptical but decided to give them a go. We were pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to arrange (came out within 48hrs of booking)and moreover the professionalism of both electritions who attended (separately as one did the testing and the other completed remedial works). Genuinely excellent experience with Nationwide from start to finish. A reasonable quote for EICR/Gas safety, remedial works carried out immediately on site to clear the gas safety at a reasonable price. The EICR was carried out by a lovely guy (believe his name was Raj) who was excellent. Latterly the EICR remedial works were organised promptly and carried out to an exemplary standard by Mustafa, who went above and beyond to re-organise my circuitry in a more logical manner without additional charge. Booked a electrical safety certificate online following a Google search. Had an issue with my card payment going through twice and upon speaking to them on the phone they advised they were already aware of the issue and had put in a refund. I was refunded for the double payment less than 2 hours after the error. They rang me quickly to book in a appointment slot and on the day the engineer arrived within the slot and promptly carried out the works. He explained what this meant and gave pratical advice as to what this looked like. I received the report a few days later which all matched what he had advised on the visit. They gave a requested quote within a few more days which after being checked by other numerous electricans (shopping around for a quote) was advised to be reasonable. Went ahead with the works which again were promptly booked in, they even managed to fit me in the day after booking which was great. Mr Shamael Chaudhry and Dr Rajesh both carried out the works to my property and were courteous and polite and worked tirelessly from around 9am until 5pm to get the job done only stopping for a small sandwich break! They cleaned up after themselves and explained everything they had done and showed me everything before leaving to ensure I was happy and understood what took place. I was a lady alone in the home and they made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I then had a completed and passed electrical certificate a few days later. I really cannot fault the service I have received from on the phone and in person! Would recommend! Thank you

We didn’t have electricity in our house for nearly a week. Four different people came but none of them could figure out let alone fix our problem. From the moment I spoke to the company, the attitude was professional, polite and efficient. Following the report on my electrical system, improvements were needed and recommended. I decided to have the work carried out. I telephoned them on the Thursday, and an engineer was booked in on the following Monday, perfect service. The engineer, arrived within the time slot booked. I booked an EPC + EICR package with Nationwide Surveyors. They booked me in quickly for my inspections. They respond quickly to emails and it is easy to reach them by phone. They also provide convenient EICR Remedial Work afterwards if necessary. I am really happy with their service.

Today Shazard came round to complete an electrical safety check, EPC, and some PAT testing. He was polite, friendly and incredibly helpful. Sometimes it can feel uncomfortable having someone in your home but he made me feel totally at easy. He thoroughly explained everything that will be written in the report and took time to answer all my questions. I was very happy with the service provided, he was very efficient, very polite and I would 100% recommend him.

I called Nationwide surveyors at 9am on a Saturday Morning explained I required an urgent electrical survey. The admin checked and arranged for someone to be here by 4pm on Saturday. I had an electric certificate and energy performance certificate done on my rental house. The service from this company was fantastic. They organised everything by contacting the tenants and making all the arrangements. The inspections went ahead at the time and date that was confirmed and the certificates were emailed 48 hours later. Very competitive price and hassle free. I have had poor service from rental agents in the past at rip off prices. I would recommend using this company instead of relying on rental agents to arrange certificates. I will be using them for all of my other rentals.

I would recommend this company. They were very responsive, able to offer a survey within 1-3 days which was exactly what I was looking for. From the initial survey I had to chase the outcome report 3 times even though I had been promised it would arrive by the Monday morning. I then asked for a remedial quote which they turned around within 24 hours and then asked them to schedule the work which happened within 48 hours. They were aware that this was a time critical piece of work needed for a house sale, and the final certification was with us less than 18 hours after the work has been finished (On a Saturday too !) the guys that carried out the work were very good. Clean, tidy, careful and efficient, they kept me updated with all of their progress and offered solutions to a couple of issues that they encountered. I would have rated 5 stars if it hadn’t been for me to having to chase the original survey results. I would definitely recommend and would definitely use this company again
